Appearance Description: Open, friendly and bright eyed, Kaison smiles a lot in a mischievous sort of way that makes people think he’s up to something even when he’s not. His build is broad and a little stocky, but strong, and he carries himself with a casual confidence and physicality.
Clothing Description: Kaison has taken to wearing black leather pants and a red or black button-down shirt or t-shirt. The fox-face is no longer painted on every shirt he wears, but he has a massive tattoo of it across his back. His wrists are always either bound, or hidden by fingerless black leather gloves that are tight past his wrists. He usually wears light shoes or sandals and always has a pair of round sunglasses perched on his forehead.

Personality: Kaison was once the worst prankster and slacker in the village. Then there was a war, and Kaison rose to the occasion. He's still devious and a little brash, but what was once mischievousness has turned to guile, and his laziness has all turned to industry. Kaison is confidant, friendly, as quick with a quip or a joke as with a punch, and very protective of his friends. He grins more then he smiles, and tends to stammer when he's confused. Since he quit being a ninja, Kaison's personality hasn't changed much. He still fills his spare hours, and now there are many, practicing his various skills, and practicing hard.

Anything Else: When Kaison’s mommy died in the war, it pretty much shook up his whole world.
He never knew his father, and all that remained of his old life was his friends, Hotaru and Toyomo. Then he got sent off on a very long mission to hidden cloud, taking advantage of his talent for infiltration, and there he was very much on his own. It's from that long experience of self-reliance that Kaison's new self confidence comes, and the experience he gained there is a big part of how he got to be a chuunin.

Fighting style: Kaison is currently not a ninja. He does like to fight though, and pretty routinely gets into scraps in bars or down dark alleys. He claims these are part of his "information gathering" activities, but it's likely he just enjoys it.
Intelligence: Kaison is more devious then smart, but he can make a plan and give an order about well enough to take a team into a fight.
Stamina: Kaison's stamina has diminished since he was a shinobi, mostly for lack of practicing jutsu.
Chakra Control: Slowly improving.
Speed: Less then some, but better then others. Kaison isn't fast as a strong point, but he can make his own time if he needs to, his recent emphasis on taijutsu training has made him a lot faster.
Weapons: For years Kaison has been practicing tai-chi sword kata, but he's never used one in a fight. His accuracy with kunai and shuriken, never a talent, has diminished recently.
Genjutsu: Decent, but only because Kaison has mastered normal Henge and Bunshin to such a degree that they've basically become totally different jutsu. He doesn't know any other genjutsu, but the ones he knows, he knows VERY well.
Taijutsu: This has grown into a real strength. The last months of scrapes and brawls have given Kaison an instinct level understanding of Taijutsu he totally lacked before. Still no genius, but very capable, especially against many simultaneous but lesser skilled opponents.
Ninjutsu: Kaison is now the proud owner of a ninjutsu. He hasn't figured out what to call it yet. Using it, and a huge amount of chakra, Kaison can transform for real, not just the half-illusion permitted by normal Henge. Equivalence of mass is still important, for instance he can't turn into a bug, unless it's a really big bug. There's also a pretty huge time restriction, and some often painful side-effects. The benefits are obvious.

Kaison is also steady, calm of nerve, pretty capable at leadership and squad tactics, and has one major set of talents: disguises and henge. His ability to imitate a person is almost magical. After observing someone for only a couple of seconds, he can literally become them in a way so convincing that their best friend might go with Kaison when faced with the choice. Along with this skill go the talents for reading people's expressions and body language, an amazing ability to bluff an opponent, and an uncanny knowledge of body measurements.
Besides this, his stealth has been honed through childhood years of evading authority, and months of undercover work in cloud, so he's pretty darn good at staying out of sight and off the radar.



• Kaison can draw pretty well, but not excellently. He used to draw a big grinning fox face with its tongue lolling out on the back of any shirt he wears more then once.
• He hero worships Naruto, and wants to be like him, but isn’t as talented by a long shot.
• His hands are so horribly scarred they might appear deformed at first glance.
• He carries around a pair of his fathers sunglasses, which he wears on occasion. He doesn’t know they were his fathers, but think of them as a memento from his mother.
• Limps slightly on humid days.
• In cloud, he ran a traveling soup stand, and posed as a twenty-or-so year old girl.
